A fluid, intriguing, transient abstraction At the conclusion of each ink session in the workshop, the ritual of brush washing occurs.

“ The sound of flowing water, the bristles of the brush that I gently touch in my hand, and the swirling particles of black smoke ink that dissolve and extend the session into a fluid, intriguing, transient abstraction.Initially, I did not grasp the significance of what was presented to me: a floating, dynamic world confined to the edges of my sink. Depending on the water pressure's intensity, there emerged imaginary and elusive landscapes reminiscent of a dreamlike Japan, where I could navigate to reach islands, seas, rains, waterfalls, and the waters of temple fountains for the purification ritual.

Furthermore, I began to connect the inks to photography. Instinctively, I started to capture images of the drifting ink-tinted water particles. By saving them in the memory of my device, I could ground them in my own reality, collecting them for the travel log of this unique exploration. On the surface of white ceramic, signs of wear reveal the impacts made by utensils that have been washed repeatedly. These small marks of intimacy seem to establish a system of cartographic references. The endless variations caused by the interaction of water with ink link reality and dreams, the visible and the invisible, as well as time and space ”
